For my Craftsman 42″ lawn tractor. I hit a paving stone in high grass with the standard blades, ruining them (thanks dear!) and took the opportunity to try the Oregon Gator blades. I have 1 acre of yard to keep trimmed, and you can tell the difference, this makes a better cut that leaves me with a better looking yard than the original blades.
Worth it, you won’t be sorry.

While shopping for a new lawn tractor, I was told by several salesmen how great gator blades work and there would be no need to buy a bagging attachment. Sure enough, I installed gator blades on my new lawn tractor; and I am well-pleased. Usually, I dread this time of year because of all of the leaf raking and bagging. Well, the gator blades eliminated that problem. Even in the most dense leaves, a couple of passes and the leaves are chopped-up. My grass looks great, too. It looks like it was cut by a professional.

I installed this Oregon Gator Mulcher Blade on my Sear 16 hp 42″ lawn tractor.
It now cuts much cleaner than the stock Blades. Well worth the money and the few minutes to change them. Before, I would have to go over the lawn a few time to get the same look now.

These Blades are almost 3 times thicker than the factory blades,they mulch great and really make a clean cut. Just don’t sharpen them before you use them, they are super sharp from the factory, the black paint will wear off quickly.I highly recommend these blades no matter what the terrain is.

Well worth the money. I have used various blades over the years but none performed like these.
